On Friday, June 28, 2024 POLYTECH had the pleasure of hosting a group of American students from the University of New Mexico (UNM), who are currently in Volos participating in the International Summer School of the University of Thessaly (UTH). This visit was part of UTH’s internationalization initiatives.
A Day of Exploration and Learning
The students were given a comprehensive tour of our facilities, where they learned about our wide range of products. They had the opportunity to engage hands-on with various machines in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Maritime, Electronics, and Robotics. This practical experience provided them with invaluable insights into cutting-edge technological advancements and the applications of these technologies in various industries.

During their visit, the students were particularly enthusiastic about operating some of the advanced machinery. They explored the intricacies of mechanical systems, navigated maritime technologies, delved into the complexities of electronics, and discovered the innovative world of robotics. This interactive session not only enhanced their understanding but also inspired them to think about the practical applications of their studies.
