POLYTECH S.A. once again demonstrated its commitment to advancing science education by participating in the 3rd Athens Science Festival, held at the Technopolis of Athens in Gazi on April 9-10, 2016. This year, POLYTECH collaborated with the renowned scientific team of Professor D. Kouretas to introduce innovative tools that bridge scientific research and education.
One of the highlights of POLYTECH’s participation was the unveiling of BIOLAB 1, an innovative apparatus developed in cooperation with Professor Kouretas’ team. BIOLAB 1 can determine the antioxidant capacity of various liquids, including coffee, juices, beer, and wine. Its debut at the Athens Science Festival captured the attention of attendees, showcasing its potential in both scientific research and educational settings.
In addition to BIOLAB 1, POLYTECH presented BT11, a cutting-edge digital laboratory designed to enhance experimental learning in science education. BT11 allows teachers and students to perform over 100 experiments in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology using advanced sensors, delivering immediate results directly to their computers. This tool is ideal for fostering a hands-on, interactive learning environment that makes complex scientific concepts more accessible to students.
POLYTECH’s presence at the festival underscored its mission to bring innovative, research-driven tools to classrooms, supporting both educators and students in their pursuit of scientific discovery. With a strong emphasis on interactive and experimental learning, products like BIOLAB 1 and BT11 are setting new standards for modern education.
Stay tuned for more developments as POLYTECH continues to revolutionize the way science is taught and learned.
