Polytech S.A. Satellite earth station Project Kicks Off!

July 4, 2025 – We are excited to announce a significant stride forward in the project: “Production and Installation of the satellite Ground Station” meant for a foreign government, overseas. This week, Polytech S.A., a manufacturer and integrator of advanced satellite antenna systems, successfully completed the final stage of the LEO 750 S/X Band Antenna equipment phase.

The completion of this state-of-the-art equipment, manufactured by Polytech, a turn-key solution that can operate in X and S band, marks the official commencement of the installation works. Our dedicated teams, in close collaboration with government experts, are currently on-site, beginning the final phase of transporting and installing this sophisticated remote sensing antenna system and all dedicated communication equipment along with the construction of the office space for the personnel operating the antenna. The project production is completing by July 28th 2025, having a budget in the range of 2.6 million USD.

The LEO 750 S/X Band Antenna, a 7.5-meter diameter Cassegrain configuration, is designed to receive image data from Earth Observation satellites. This project, once fully operational, will significantly enhance the country’s capabilities in satellite data reception, contributing to vital scientific and technological advancements in the region. The system’s advanced features, including its precise pointing system, dual-drive motors, and comprehensive Antenna Control Unit (ACU), ensure high performance and reliability.

The installation process, which includes the construction of the cement foundation, system cabling, and rigorous testing, is projected to be completed within 3 months from now. We are committed to ensuring a seamless integration and optimal functionality of this critical infrastructure.

Stay tuned for more updates as we progress with the installation. We look forward to sharing the successful completion of this vital project, which promises to open new avenues for scientific and technological innovation.
