POLYTECH is thrilled to unveil its latest innovation: the PT-CIM 2C/PTR-4D Mechatronics Basic Trainer with Robotic Arm, an integral component of the LHP 302 Automation – Mechatronics laboratory.
Designed to provide students with hands-on experience in basic Mechatronics processes, the PT-CIM 2C trainer offers an immersive learning environment for exploring automation processes using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). With a focus on sequential control of production processes and manufacturing operations, students gain valuable insights into real-world applications within the industry.
Key features of the PT-CIM 2C trainer include:
- Three cylinder pistons actuated by pneumatic solenoid valves for feeding and selection procedures
- 24V bi-directional DC motor
- Conveyor belt
- Push buttons, lamps (red and green), and beam sensors for operational control
- Input and output connections for seamless integration with the PT-1208 PLC (provided separately), enabling control and monitoring via PLC software and a PC
Additionally, the PT-CIM 2C trainer can be expanded with the PTR 4D robotic arm module, allowing students to integrate robotic operations into their Mechatronics processes. With four degrees of freedom, the robotic arm serves as a palletizer or feeder, enhancing the versatility and complexity of the training experience.
