POLYTECH S.A. had the distinct honor of attending the exceptional lecture by the internationally acclaimed space scientist and former President of the Academy of Athens, Dr. Stamatios Krimizis, titled “Exploring the Universe: An Evening of Science and Art in Larissa.”
Organized through the collaborative efforts of the Directorate of Primary Education of Larissa, the Holy Metropolis of Larissa and Tyrnavos, the Municipality of Larissa, and the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Larissa (D.E.Y.A.L.), the event offered an inspiring evening that seamlessly blended science and art.
During his captivating presentation, Dr. Krimizis shared invaluable insights and experiences from his distinguished career in Space Physics. He explored the latest developments in space exploration, highlighting emerging opportunities and their profound implications for the future of humanity. Emphasizing the crucial role of scientific research and international collaboration, Dr. Krimizis also reflected on the deep connection between science and art, enriching the audience’s appreciation of both disciplines.
The evening was further elevated by a moving musical performance from a string quartet, conducted by esteemed academic, composer, and former Minister, Dr. Stathis Theodorou, creating a truly memorable and multifaceted experience for all attendees.
