Polytech Presents Advanced Educational Tools at the 1st National Conference on Educational Innovation

From October 23-25, 2015, Polytech took part as a sponsor and guest speaker at the 1st National Conference on Educational Innovation, held at the Technological Institute of Thessaly in Larisa. Organized by the Scientific Association for the Promotion of Educational Innovation (EEPEK), in collaboration with the University of Thessaly and the Technological Institute of Thessaly, the conference aimed to foster meaningful dialogue on innovative teaching practices and to explore new approaches to education.

The event brought together educators, researchers, and students, with a focus on primary and secondary school teachers, higher education faculty, and researchers in the field of education. The goal was to encourage the adoption of educational innovations that could improve teaching, learning, and overall school life.

During the conference, Polytech showcased its cutting-edge educational solutions, leveraging over 30 years of expertise in the sector. Key products included:

  • PCB 301 Mobile Laboratory: A comprehensive interactive learning system designed to enhance student engagement in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology through hands-on experiments and integrated software.
  • WeldTrainer Welding Simulator: A state-of-the-art 3D simulator that offers immersive welding training, allowing students to develop practical skills in a controlled virtual environment.
  • STEM BT11 Digital Laboratory: An innovative platform for conducting digital experiments and measurements in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, helping students gain valuable experience with real-world applications.

In addition, Polytech introduced ACADEMUS CRS, a revolutionary system for interaction and educational management, marking its first appearance in Greece. ACADEMUS CRS is a user-friendly tool tailored to secondary and higher education teachers. It allows educators to create a comprehensive database of student information, develop interactive quizzes, and generate assessment tests categorized by unit, subject, and course. The system simplifies classroom management by providing teachers with the ability to store and organize student data and assessments in a single, flexible platform.

Polytech’s participation in the conference underscored its commitment to advancing educational innovation and supporting the development of practical, modern teaching tools that enhance learning experiences.
