POLYTECH had the honor of participating as a guest speaker at the 15th National Conference of Physics, held in Nafplio from March 6th to 9th, 2014. The event was organized by the Union of Greek Physicists, in collaboration with the Region of Peloponnese and the Directorate of Secondary Education of Argolis.
As a leader in the development of educational products and services for all levels, POLYTECH was invited by the Deputy Chairman of the Department of Special Education at the University of Thessaly to speak at a special session on March 7th. This session focused on workshops for children with special needs, an area where POLYTECH has extensive experience, particularly through its collaborations in Russia.
POLYTECH’s presence at the conference underscored the company’s commitment to expanding its work in special education, with the goal of creating products and workshops designed specifically to teach natural sciences to students with disabilities. This initiative aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to promote accessible science education for all learners, regardless of their abilities.
At the event, specialists in teaching science to students with special needs shared their insights and research, sparking discussions on how technology and specialized equipment can be used to enhance learning. POLYTECH’s representatives actively contributed to the conversation, emphasizing the importance of developing tools that are not only effective but also accessible.
The key takeaway from the session was clear: students with special needs can significantly benefit from tailored educational techniques and adapted equipment in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Over the years, POLYTECH has been at the forefront of creating such tools, including sensors, simulators, and other specialized devices that allow students with disabilities to engage in hands-on experiments and explore scientific concepts.
